A funny thing happens when our tiny humans become preschoolers: meanings of school begin to form, views of who they are as a learner develop, and they come to expect great things to happen.   In the Reggio-inspired classrooms of Raintree, the foundations laid in Nursery give rise to remarkable ideas and fantastic deeds.

Ever since children have begun to leave toddlerhood for big-kidness, the preschool class at Raintree set the stage of innovative learning, while building the creative capacity of every child.  Collaborative, long-term projects of the children’s devising produces students who can think critically and creatively, communicate effectively, collaborate, and persevere in the face of obstacles and academic challenges.

During this year of a child’s Raintree experience, young children will sew, a classroom economy that introduces basic arithmetic, science in the garden, and the writing of their first fictional stories. Creativity, independence, and critical thinking are habits.  Those healthy habits are sparked to life here.

Half-day and full-time attendance options available for children aged 3 by August 1st.
